The SWWA is an organization made up of persons involved in the operation, maintenance and trouble shooting of water and wastewater systems and there components. Types of members range from the village foreman, to the town public works employee, to the full-time water or wastewater operator and manager. The SWWA includes various technical staff and suppliers who are interested in efficient operation of our water and wastewater systems.

The operator training, specialty seminars, and the annual conference and tradeshow key in on water and wastewater related topics and problems experienced by everyone at some time. Members are offered reduced costs on all SWWA events.

SWWA Supplier Board Representatives

The SWWA Board has two supplier reps assigned to the board each year. The position runs for a two year term. Supplier reps for the board assist with the following: Annual Golf Tournament and the procurement of sponsorship for the event and any prizes donated by others in the industry, the Watering Hole at the Annual Tradeshow and feedback from a suppliers prospective on items such as tradeshow floorplans.

SWWA Supplier Rep Benefits include: Free Website Advertisement under the ‘Supplier’ tab, Free Pipeline Business Card Advertisement, as well as Reduced Cost on Additional Pipeline Advertisement, and Free Signage at Selected Hole during SWWA Golf Tournament.

The Operator Certification Board (OCB) is responsible for the certifying of water and wastewtaer operators in the province of Saskatchewan.

 

The SaskH20 website is dedicated to water information, water services, information on drinking water, landfills, links to other government resources and a section for operators to view listings of operators, renewal forms for certification and a listing of operators.

SWWA Summer Hours

The SWWA office will be open Monday to Thursday 9am to noon all summer with regular office hours resuming on Sept. 5. The office is closed for all statutory holidays.
