The Annual SWWA Conference & Tradeshow will be held Nov. 4-7, 2025. A networking event will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Your conference registration includes meals during the conference, as well as the Banquet and Awards Gala. 

The Tradeshow will take place Wednesday, November 5-6, 2025.

Call for papers is now open. Please submit your abstract and bio for consideration to office@swwa.ca by May 1, 2025.

Hydrant and Valve Maintenance (0.6 CEU in Application)

Time: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Location: Rosthern, SK (Firehall - 5006 Saskatchewan St.)

This one-day workshop will be held on May 14, 2025 (8:30am - 4:30pm) at the firehall (5006 Saskatchewan St.) in Rosthern , SK  and is presented by Deblo Industries Ltd. in partnership with SWWA. The morning will be in the classroom and cover the following topics: AWWA Valve and Hydrant Specifications and General Standards, benefits of hydrant maintenance program, purchasing hydrants and valves, the difference between sliding gate and compression hydrants, installation problems, inspections, fire flow classifications. In the afternoon, attendees will go into the field/shop and work on hydrants, take them apart, discuss the repairs needed and reassembling hydrant. Hydrants and isolation valves will operated upon completion.
