Attendees are eligible to earn 1.2 CEU’s if requirements are met, if not all requirements are met 0.9 CEU’s are available for workshop attendance. Attendees are responsible to sign in for each session and to pick up CEU stamps or certificates depending on the CEU’s looking to attain.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend the SWWA Annual Conference you must cancel by Oct. 10 to receive a full refund after that if it is a medical or work emergency a credit will be issued following the conference. Substitutions are permitted, names must be received by October 17, 2019.

Walk ups are accepted but a charge of $150.00 will be added to the registration fee, please bring your registration form filled out completely along with payment to the onsite registration office at TCU place.


Annual Awards

Operator of the Year Award – Nominations -open Jan 1, 2019 – Sept. 15, 2019

Operators from any of the disciplines are eligible – Water Treatment, Water Distribution, Wastewater Treatment, Wastewater Collection, or Small Systems. Nomination forms are due on August 1st every year. Nominees must be a current SWWA member.

As of September 2018 all nominations that meet the requirements will be kept on file for a two year period following the original nomination year.

Lifetime Member Award – Nominations – open Jan 1, 2019 – Sept. 15, 2019

Any person who has been an active member of SWWA for at least 15 years, and is retired from active employment can be nominated for the award provided they have been retired from active work in the industry for a period of one year. The application must be received by Sept. 15 of the current year.

The applicant must have demonstrated extraordinary service and have been dedicated to the aims and goals of the SWWA and its membership. The maximum number of life members awarded each year is three. Nomination forms are due August 1 of the current year.

*New requirement* the member must be retired from the industry for one year to be eligible for the award
